With CD Projekt RED announcing their new cyberpunk game there should be a revival of the classic games of that genre on here in promotion. Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller is… not a good game. The game features the voice talents of Dennis Hopper, Stephanie Seymour, Grace Jones, and Geoffrey Holder. The game was notable for being one of the first CD-ROM-only games to use speech with hi-res graphics, and has been described as very similar to BloodNet. The game utilizes FMV backgrounds with CGI characters and an explorable map (featuring familiar locations around Washington D.C.).

You advance in the game by talking to people and manipulating objects to solve puzzles. It’s certainly not the 12th worst computer game ever made, as Computer Gaming World once described it, but it’s not good either (amusingly, by contrast, PC Gamer gave it a 92%, which it certainly isn't either - the reality is somewhere between the two). It came to be at the time when actors in video games was still novel, good storylines in video games I had just read a short story by Chet Williamson in a horror anthology and was looking for a novel.
