Of course, leading the way in the genre is Michael McDonagh's excellent 2008 film In Bruges and whilst Perrier's Bounty similarly features the great Brendan Gleeson (plus a whole host of other leading British and Irish acting talent) it does not even get close to McDonagh's film in terms of its level of inventiveness, or even just pure comedy.

Perrier's Bounty puts on a pretty good show: fast, foul, corny, strange. 50. Unfortunately, the weak link of the cast is Jim Broadbent, who delivers an excruciatingly bad Irish accent, which almost sounds like a parody.
