The majority of the angelfish species are found in the Western Pacific, only nine species are found in the Atlantic and as few as four in the Eastern Pacific/Indian Ocean areas. The Queen Angelfish, Holacanthus ciliaris, is a member of the Angelfish or Pomacanthidae Family, and is known in Mexico as ángel reina. With neon blue and yellow scales and iridescent purple and orange markings, surprisingly it is not conspicuous, and actually hides very well, and is very shy.
