Years ago, a Houston artist made plans to create President Park, a ten-acre outdoor park in Williamsburg. It’s like something from the Twilight Zone: abandoned statue heads of the U.S presidents in a rural field near Croaker, Virginia. The United States of America has had 44 men serve as president. Also featured are George Bush Senior, the assassinated 35 th President, John F. Kennedy and 37 th President Richard Nixon. The formidable concrete statues include the first president of the United States, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln who appears to be missing the back of his head.
