Limits. While quail in northcentral Kansas have seemed widespread across the landscape the past few years, they have historically been spotty in the region. Kansas seasons run from mid-November through Jan. 31, giving time for multiple trips. Some parts of northwest Kansas could be good, too.

Upland seasons range from early autumn to mid-winter, depending on the state and species. Help us keep these areas open by practicing social distancing and avoiding gathering in groups. Visitors may still enjoy the water in other areas, so long as social distancing and park regulations are observed. Limits: Limits are set for each species' hunting or trapping season.
