He studied at the University of California (Berkeley and Santa Barbara) and at Yale University. At the West 21st Street gallery, a single work made of curved plates: Four new works from Serra’s Rounds series will fill the entire West 24th Street gallery. At 980 Madison Avenue, a series of new diptych and triptych drawings will be on view. Gagosian is pleased to present Rifts, an exhibition of recent drawings by Richard Serra. Since 1983 Gagosian has presented more than thirty solo exhibitions of Serra’s work in the US and Europe.
